Senior Security Architect

eSpime is searching for a qualified Senior IT and Endpoint Security Architect to join the team of professional consultants in Finland. The right candidate will work at our client’s premises and will participate in project work.

Responsibility:

This role will include defining direction, vision, standards and strategic objectives for security architecture and driving forward client’s security architecture strategies. Senior IT and Endpoint Security Architect will design, lead and implement all security, application, infrastructure and data projects.

Key tasks:

  • Lead the creation and maintenance of the IT and Endpoint Security
  • Develop and maintain the current, future state and intermediate architecture blueprints
  • Publish and maintain domain security standards, policies, principles and guidelines
  • Ensure cross-domain requirements are identified and issues resolved
  • Provide hands-on security architecture expertise
  • Review industry trends and identify potential areas of exploitation
  • Generate innovative ideas on improving IT and Endpoint security capabilities in architectural process
Qualifications:

In order to succeed in this position it is required to have:
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in IT, Engineering or other related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in shaping and defining security architecture solutions across a range of industries
  • Proven experience in design, implementation and operation of large-scale security architecture solutions in a large and complex multi-supplier / multi-platform environment
  • Knowledge of infrastructure and application security requirements and ability to translate these into solutions
  • Experience in review and advising on full life cycle of architecture development projects from plans, proposals, and designs to implementation
  • Strong knowledge of common application platforms and security technologies
  • Deep knowledge of security methodologies, best practice and industry standards, and ability maintain and further develop standards and procedure
Other skills:
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills; Finnish language is optional
  • Team player, but also able to work independently
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good advisory and business skills
  • Flexibility when ever needed regarding working hours and working methods
  • Proactive approach to work, accuracy and possibility to meet deadlines
  • Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical employees
